Job Title: - Regional Manager
Code: - RM/01
Reports to: - The CEO

Purpose of the Job: -
  • To provide strategic leadership in development, maintenance and growth of ACAL’s business in a geographical area.

Responsibility: -
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to develop, maintain and grow business in a particular geographical area
  • Develop and monitor budgets for the geographical area
  • Identify opportunities, develop proposals & presentations and support the delivery of consultancies/assignments.
  • Handle public relations and client relationships in the region.
  • Constantly build and improve company image and look for more ways to improve further ACAL’s promotion.
  • Participate in the management of the project cycle execution including planning, delivery, billing and closure
  • Analyze problems and methodical approaches to maximize the efficiency of the operations in the region
  • Take responsible steps to ensure that officers working in the region have access to business information as to what their powers and obligations are
  • Assign duties, train, supervise and appraise regional staff

Key Result Areas: -
  • Pipeline of the assignment (work in progress, contracted, negotiate, proposed, identified).
  • Budgets versus the actual costs.
  • Actual revenue versus targets

Minimum Qualifications: -
  • MBA
  • High level of IT proficiency

Experience: -
  • At least Five years of relevant experience in a busy consultancy environment

Purpose of the Job: -
  • Ensure efficient and effective functioning of ACAL’s Finance and administration department

Responsibility: -
  • Develop, implement, improve and maintain financial and administrative processes, procedures and guideline
  • Ensure proper cash flow management, bookkeeping, Accounting, budgeting and cost controls in ACAL
  • Responsible for management of the asset register
  • Ensure efficient and effective administration of the staff payroll.
  • Responsible for all ACAL’s financial and accounting reporting for both internal use and statutory requirements
  • Develop budgeting methodology and aid section managers in preparing their budgets and other financial reports
  • Consolidate budgets from section managers to develop ACAL’s overall budgets.
  • Monitor ACAL’s actual cost and recoveries versus budgeted cost and recoveries and prepares periodic reports.
  • Ensure that taxes and other payments are made in a timely manner to all government agencies.
  • Plan and participate in the Audit process and ensure implementation of the Audit recommendations
  • Ensure adherence to the accounting and administration processes, procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure efficient provision of office services, upkeep of office and equipment and supply of office supplies
  • Responsible for the purchasing of all office supplies, computers and equipment
  • Assign work, supervise, train and appraise section staff

Key Result Areas: -
  • Timely financial reports.
  • Efficient processing of payments
  • Efficient provision of office services including ICT, office cleanliness and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications: -
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting
  • CPA (K)/ ACCA
  • High Level of ICT Proficiency

Experience: -
  • At lease five years of relevant experience

  • Ensure effective development and administration of the human resources policies, procedures, guidelines and programs.

Responsibility: -
  • Develop, improve, implement and maintain ACAL’s HR processes, procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Acts as an internal consultancy professional, and assist the line managers in understanding and implementing HR processes, procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Work together with other section managers to identify vacancies, prepare job descriptions, advertise, screen applicants, interview and select appropriate recruits
  • Ensure compensation and benefits are in line with Company policies and updated Government Regulations.
  • Coordinate the staff performance appraisal process
  • Ensure effective resolution of employee conflicts and effective communication between Company and employees.
  • Interpreting and notifying employees on employment legislation.
  • Developing HR strategic plans with line managers, in terms of skill and staff number in relation to the long-term and immediate staff requirements.
  • Planning and delivering training occasionally, including induction programs for new hires.
  • Advising management on career development, work matters and industrial matters.
  • Develop and maintain proper HR filing and record keeping system.
  • Prepare and monitor the HR budget.

Responsibility: -
  • To receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment.
  • Verify calculations and input codes in to the Accounts system in an accurate manner.
  • Undertake bank reconciliations.
  • To deal with daily transactions for the petty cash and ensure that reconciliations are completed as per the guidelines.
  • Prepare cheques for payment.
  • Support the planning and execution of the audit process and implementation of the Audit recommendations.
  • Provide preliminary ICT support to staff.

Minimum Qualifications: -
