Description of Duties: -
  • Carrying out relevant research in relation to assigned teaching programmes and prepare quality educational materials
  • Continuously participate in research and development; with the aim of improving the college’s education and training services.
  • Ensuring prompt class attendance and delivery (lecturing) of relevant courses to students and issue handouts on topics taught.
  • Setting, moderating and assessing examinations
  • Participating in review, evaluation and design of curriculum.
  • Supervising students work/projects & related studies
  • Participating in development of the college timetable and implementing the curricula
  • Conducting Training in short courses as may be assigned and on need basis.
  • Providing regular-monthly management updates on the progress of the department’s research and development initiatives to Head of Department.
  • Providing regular-monthly management updates on the progress of course design and implementation.
  • Performing any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by management.

Requirements & Qualifications: -
  • University degree from a recognised University.
  • A post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
  • Professional training and qualification such as ACII, FCII, Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision from PMI or similar qualifications in life, general insurance branches or pensions.
  • A minimum of five years experience in working for the insurance sector, insurance related organisations or pensions.
  • Teaching experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
