Job Title: Visa Section Operations Manager
Section: UK Border Agency Visa Services, British High Commission, Nairobi
Grade: LE II
Position Duration: Full time (on the basis of a two-year renewable contract)
Working Time Table: From 07.15 – 15.30, Monday to Thursday and 07.15 – 12.30 on Friday.
Salary: Ksh.148, 000.00

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Excellent management and service delivery skills, a minimum of 5 years experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English)
  • Computer literacy; accurate typing skills of at least 25 words per minute and be able to use MS Word, Excel and straightforward databases
  • High regard for personal integrity
  • The ability to remain customer focused, polite and courteous under pressure.
  • The ability to work quickly and reliably with little supervision to meet challenging targets.
  • A team player with a flexible and positive attitude. This is a forward thinking, modern and motivated department working at the forefront of visa work. We are committed to improving standards and procedures and we are looking for a like-minded employee.
